FUTURE OF MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION IN INDIA

To all those medical transcriptionist in India and Transcription aspirants.

This blog is intended to look into the Medical Transcription industry in its current scenario and its future in Indian Market.

For what turned out to be boom to the Indian ITEs sector is running out of business now becaues of recession? lack of intakers into the industry, outsourcing policies????? the question goes on.

Medical Transcription has been into the Indian market since the late 1990's as a very small untapped segment, but boomed out in the early 2000's and now phasing out..

My blog is intended to all those already into the field and those aspirants IS THERE ANY SCOPE OF GOOD IMPROVEMENT IN THIS industry.

Not many big players or companies are there in this industry and as a funniest part to this industry many people do not even still know what this industry is and what the functionality and is there anything like that rather than like CALL CENTERS, which is known almost to everyone.

The funniest part is when I try to explain to the college graduates who come into my office, i find it very hard to explain to them and they simply ASK... is this KIND OF MEDICAL REPRESENTATIVE........................I BURST into laughter..............but on the otherside I need to be on the other end because after having been into the Indian Market this industry is not able to penetrate into the Minds of the common people or even to the Graduates and others.................so pathetic and there are not big companies in major metros to name them as big players where as MEDICAL CODING and other related process of wherein they use this transcripts have got major players like AJUBA, PEROT, ACCENTURE...ETC.......

while this on the one end With the policies of obama and american outsourcing policies... my question is how long this field is going to be in the indian market... and with the rates and companies trying to lineup to grab the business.............the pathetic thing is that people even work for even do not even get an rupee for a line. and coutries like philipiness and other south asian coutries lining up. what is going to be scenario for this industry.

so all in all....................is this industry going to boom in or bane out??????????????INDUSTRY EXPERTS...................................VALUABLE COMMENTS APPRECIATED.......
